New Warehouse Facility Opens in Lampung to Expand Export Capacity
PT Solid Aroma Mandiri officially inaugurates an expanded 3,000 sqm climate-controlled warehouse facility in Lampung, equipped with state-of-the-art grading, sorting, and quality control infrastructure.
PT Solid Aroma Mandiri officially opened its new 3,000 square meter warehouse and processing facility in Lampung Province on February 12, 2025. This significant investment in infrastructure reflects our confidence in the growth trajectory of Indonesian green coffee exports and our commitment to meeting increasing demand from our international buyers.
Facility Overview
The new facility is purpose-built for green coffee handling and export preparation. Key features include:
- Climate-controlled storage with humidity and temperature monitoring, maintaining optimal conditions for green bean preservation
- Industrial-grade optical color sorters capable of processing up to 2 metric tons per hour
- Dedicated cupping and quality control laboratory with professional equipment
- Moisture and density analysis stations at multiple points along the processing line
- Separate zones for Robusta and Arabica handling to prevent cross-contamination
- Packaging lines capable of handling jute bags, GrainPro liners, and vacuum-sealed formats
Employment and Community Impact
The new facility has created over 45 direct employment positions in the local community, with an emphasis on hiring from the surrounding coffee-growing villages. We also plan to use the facility's laboratory for regular farmer-facing cupping sessions, allowing producers to better understand quality feedback and market requirements.
Expanded Capacity
With this addition, PT Solid Aroma Mandiri now operates a combined processing and storage capacity of over 5,000 metric tons per annum — a significant increase from our previous capacity. We are now well-positioned to take on larger, long-term supply contracts from importers and roasters seeking a reliable Indonesian partner.
